Paul M. Romer is a Professor of Economics at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. In October he becomes Chief Economist of the World Bank. On September 15th he gave a lecture in memory of Eli F. Heckscher at Stockholm School of Economics by invitation from EHFF and the Ratio Institute. In this interview with Ratio CEO Nils Karlson he discusses the Heckscher lecture 2016: Short-Run Shocks; Long-Run Pessimism and his forthcoming paper the Trouble with Macroeconomics.
