Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, is easily reached from all over the world. The city is built on 14 islands and is surrounded by water, which adds to its beauty. The Nobel Museum, The Vasa Museum, The Modern Art Museum, and the Old Town with the Royal Palace are all top sights
Travel
The main airport of Stockholm is called Arlanda (ARN) and is located about 40 kilometers, or 25 miles, to the north of the city. The Arlanda Express Train takes you to the center of Stockholm, very near the conference hotel, in 20 minutes.
There are also flights to Skavsta and Vasteras airports, from where coaches depart to Stockholm.

PDF with General informationClarion Hotel Sign is the official conference hotel for the 2017 MPS meeting in Stockholm, and we strongly recommend it to all participants. The meeting itself will take place in the excellent conference facilities of this hotel. It is a spectacular venue, with modern Scandinavian design, as well as the biggest hotel in Stockholm. Clarion Hotel Sign is located about 200 meters from the airport train, the Arlanda Express, downtown Stockholm.
Discounted hotel rates are available to all participants when you register, however these rates only apply when booked in conjunction with registration.
