Fredrik Bergström

Fredrik holds a PhD in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and is an experienced advisor in societal development. He has worked on issues related to the role and development of infrastructure, urban and real estate development, the development of district centers, regional development, economic analysis, and business and societal development in a broad sense. Fredrik is also a highly regarded lecturer and moderator.

He runs his own advisory business under the framework of www.wikinarium.se. Previously, he served as CEO of the Swedish Retail Institute (Handelns Utredningsinstitut), was Head of Business Area at WSP Advisory, was part of WSP Sweden’s management team, and was a member of the WSP Global Advisory Network.

Fredrik is the Chairman of InfraSweden, a member of the Research Council of Svenska Stadskärnor, and a board member of Kristianstad University. He is affiliated with Lund University (LTH) and the Division of Real Estate Science. Additionally, Fredrik leads the so-called Financing Network, which serves as a platform for knowledge exchange on alternative financing and organization of infrastructure.
