Postdoc in Applied economics (Policy evaluation)
NyheterThe Ratio Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, is seeking to employ a Postdoc for a two-year, research-only, position in economics. Part-time arrangements are possible. Start date is flexible, but no later than Oct 2018.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have an established record of, or considerable potential for, high quality research aimed at top-tier academic journals. Applicants should have completed, or be close to completion of, their PhD. In addition, we expect the candidate to be interested in environmental economics and to participate in a novel field experiment that analyses the impact of social norms on consumption behaviour and waste generation. Experience of field experiment and/or treatment evaluation would be an advantage, but it is not strictly necessary.
What we offer
The position is funded by a grant from the Swedish Research Council Formas. We offer a competitive package that includes a generous budget for conferences, research visits and purchase of data. The salary is 39 000 SEK /month (approximately 4000 €). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative, dynamic research environment with the opportunity to develop her/his own research agenda and build an international research network.
Ratio is situated in the heart of Stockholm, with Stockholm School of Economics just around the corner and Stockholm University a 15-minute bike ride away.
